Goldie is a senior Golden Retriever mix. She is recovering from a eye infection, is heartworm positive which is being treated with Heartguard, and has started medication for arthritis. Her senior blood work results were very good for her age. She is good with other dogs and is doing very well in her foster home. Goldie is very friendly and loves people.
UPDATE from foster: Goldie is doing great. She wags her tail whenever she sees me and loves to rest her head on the bed when it is time to get up in the morning for some extra petting before beginning the day. Her eye infection is completely gone. She eats next to all of the other dogs and has no issues. She loves her food and treats. She has learned to take treats very nicely from me. She is left loose with free access to the entire house when I am at work and has never gotten into anything. She is doing well on her arthritis medication and still has a spring in her step when she comes down the stairs to go outside. Goldie is just a big love who enjoys having other dogs around and resting on a soft comfortable dog bed or by your feet all day.
