My name is Jax. I am about 3 years old. My previous family had to give me up because they could no longer care for me. So, like a lot of other kids, I moved back home with my mother. She was adopted when I was just a puppy. I was adopted by another family at the same time. How lucky I am that she has allowed me to move back home. It is nice here living with my mom, but I would really like to have my own family. You know, kids gotta move on. So I want to tell you a little about me and see if you want to meet me.
I am 3yrs old and am housebroken. I like to play with my foster sister and my mom. We get along really well. I have a fenced yard and it is so much fun to play in. I like to fetch and sometimes I will give the ball back. I know a lot of commands.... sit, down, NO!, drop it, kiss and am learning shake. My foster mom says I am an extremely good and easy boy to have at home. I am good loose in the house when my foster siblings are with me. My foster mom lets us loose in the house when she is not home. We just play and sleep. I really do prefer to have another dog to keep me company. If I am alone, my foster mom will let me stay in my crate. I don't mind it too much. She gives me a nylabone and tells me to be a good boy. Duh, of course I am always good. I sleep on the floor and sometimes will get up on the bed. I do not jump on furniture or people. I am not sure about cats. I would be curious about them but I do not think I would hurt them. I like children. Although, maybe older ones would be a better fit than young children.
I have been to a special vet. He says I have two conditions that will require surgery. One is that I have torn my ACL and that will need to be fixed first. The other is that I have hip dysplasia in both of my hips. Although, you really can not tell by the way I play and run after a ball. In spite of these two conditions, I am still an active boy. As for my surgeries, TVGRR is raising money for the surgeries. They are very expensive but everyone knows that I am worth every penny. So do not let these two things about me deter you from wanting to adopt me.
My foster mom thinks that I am the sweetest boy she has ever fostered. I am soooo good with the ladies! :0) She likes it when I snuggle up with her and let her scratch my ears. I love to give her kisses as well.
If you think you would like to meet me (and who wouldn't?) please fill out an application and list my name, JAX, in the comments section. I can not wait to meet you.
