Reggie is a 3 year old male.

Hey y’all,

I’m Reggie! I am a golden retriever mix with a LOT of personality! I have VERY good manners and mind very well. I understand what "NO" and "UH-UH" means…and I will drop what ever it is I’m carrying or stop doing what I am doing so that my master will be happy and give me "GOOD BOY!" praise.

I LOVE children, and have even let a 4 year old girl at Petsmart squeeze my neck and pull my tail…all while showing a happy face and being a good boy!

I just think cats are something interesting to sniff, and they can go on their way. I am a little bit afraid of my foster mom’s chicken. I thought I might like chasing her little goats around the yard…but once the mama goat gave me a BUTT…I have decided it is wise to stay near foster mommy and not harass the goats. It is a lot more fun making friends with her other doggies instead.

I LOVE treats and will try hard to please you in order to earn them. I also am, of course, very gentle in taking them. Shucks, foster mommy even plays with my teeth when she gives me treats! I don’t care…as long as I get to snuggle with her in the nice big bed, I will lay on my back and let her brush me and snip off those nasty little mats that get in my fur! Speaking of which, I know I look a little shaggy right now, since the nice people at PETSrPEOPLE2 washed me all up and had to clip lots of snags out of my hair. They were sooooo good to me. But, when all my beautiful golden fur is grown out, I will be even MORE stunning! I can already tell that a good diet has helped my coat become shiny and soft.

I am a very good boy who is looking for a fun home where someone will pet me and play with me. I love to greet you at the door and hear you calling me to go outside for a walk or just hop up in bed for "nighty-night!" My foster mom says that I sometimes wake her up if I sleep with my feet against her (I sometimes wiggle around if I’m having a good dream) but Mom just puts a pillow in between us or points my feet toward the wall so we can BOTH get a good night’s sleep!

I am very happy and will be a good boy for my new family. I only want to make my mommy or daddy happy, so I will do anything to get them to love me. I am really smart too…and have started learning little tricks and commands! Will you please consider me as a new member of your family? I promise…I’ve even gotten REALLY good at going up and down stairs!
