Rena is 7 yrs old, housebroken, good with cats, children, and other dogs. Red colored, low activity level
My name is Rena, and I am a beautiful red-haired girl who is a bit on the larger side weighing in at 71lbs. Like the pure-bred golden that I am, my favorite pastime is to be with my people. Exercise is another of my favorite activities, and I get quite excited when my foster mom gets out the leash for our 2 mile walk each morning. My house manners are super and I know the commands come, sit, down, and stay. I have been well behaved in homes with cats and I really love children. I also get along very well with my two foster brothers, a lab and a golden.
Most of my day is spent lying at my foster moms feet. I also like to collect the other dogs toys when they are not looking, and by the end of the morning there is hardly any space for me on my dog bed.
Some experience in my past has made me scared of thunderstorms, and I have to take medicine if there is a thunderstorm. I am also on thyroid medication, like a number of other middle-aged golden retrievers and my human foster mom too.
Mom says I am a perfect companion, and will be great in any home where someone is home most of the time. If you would like a walking companion and someone to keep you company during the day, fill out an application for Rena, the red-haired girl.
