Roger is agreat 1 year old boy. The vet and kennel staff both raved about how sweet he was. He has only been in a foster home for a few days so his foster mom is still getting to know him.
As with all our rescue dogs, Roger is fully vetted, neutered, and on heartworm preventative.

Update: Roger is one of the sweetest Goldens I've ever had the pleasure of fostering. When I took him home he hopped right into the back of my car, curled up and took a little nap on the way home. Roger is eager to please and loves to be with people. He loves to curl up next to me on the couch or by my feet and lay his head on me while he naps. He has a lot of energy but is quick to calm down in large groups of people. I think he may have been someone's pet because he understands some commands and walks well on a leash. When I first took him home he was a little unsure about his crate. Now, all I have to do is go next to his crate before I leave and say, "Roger," and he walks right in, happy as can be. One look at Roger and he will capture your heart.
